Follow these steps to change the server timeout settings in Outlook Express:

Open Outlook Express.

Click on Tools > Accounts > Mail tab.

Select the account you need to change and click on Properties.

Navigate to the Advanced tab.

In the Server Timeouts section, move the slider bar to Long.
