Follow these steps to set up your IMAP email account in Apple Mail:
1. Go to File and then click Add Account.
2. Enter your Full Name as you want it to appear, your Full Email Address, and the Password associated with this account. When ready, click Continue.
3. Select IMAP for the Account Type.
4. Enter a Description for the account and the Incoming Mail Server as provided by your host (this can be something like mail.example.com
or just the domain name).
5. Type your Username (usually your full email address) and Password, then click Continue.
6. To send mail from this address, you need to set up the Outgoing Mail Server. Enter a Description and the Outgoing Mail Server as provided by your host.
7. If required by your host, check Use Authentication, then click Continue.
8. Review the information provided and click Create.
9. That’s it! Your mailbox is now set up, and all messages on the server should appear in the Mail app.
You can now start using your newly configured IMAP email account in Apple Mail.
